In this course, we delve into the Book of Exodus, and examine the Israelites' pivotal journey from slavery to freedom. Dive deep into the meaning of this foundational Jewish text and unravel the timeless wisdom of its sacred stories.

Hebrew Language

Ready to improve your Hebrew skills?

 

This class focuses on modern Hebrew reading, writing and comprehension from beginner to intermediate levels, and will explore the rich cultural and historical context behind the Hebrew language.

 

Whether you're driven by personal enrichment, cultural connection, or religious exploration, this class will take your Hebrew language skills to the next level.

Beginner Class: Tuesdays, 3:30 p.m. & Thursdays, 3 p.m.

Intermediate Class: Mondays, 3:30 p.m. & Wednesdays, 2:30 p.m.

Temple Beth El Hebrew School empowers children with the knowledge and skills they need to become active participants in the Jewish community. Our experienced teachers foster a dynamic and supportive learning environment where students are encouraged to explore their Jewish identities.

Bar/Bat Mitzvah Preparation

Our individualized Bar/Bat Mitzvah classes are designed to guide and support families as they prepare for the celebration of their child's Bar or Bat Mitzvah. From learning Torah portions to understanding the significance of the mitzvot, we ensure that your child is well-prepared for this momentus occasion.

This program emphasizes the importance of being an active participant in the synagogue community, encouraging social engagement and the development of lasting friendships.
